மகாபாரதம் – விரிவான விளக்கம் பகுதி 4
ஈஷ்வர: பரம: க்ருஷ்ண: ஸச்-சித் ஆனந்த விக்ரஹ:
அனாதிர் ஆதிர் கோவிந்த: ஸர்வ-காரண-காரணம்
அன்புடையீர்,
பெருமைமிகுந்த இந்த பாரதத்தினை
த்வைபாயன மஹரிஷி என்னும் வியாஸர், நூறாயிரம் சுலோகங்களில் கேட்கத்தக்கதாகவும், அறியத்தக்கவற்றில்
சிறந்ததாகவும் ஆக்கினார். மறுபடியும் அவர் பாரதத்திலிருந்து எல்லா பர்வங்களின் விஷயங்களையும்
சுருக்கி நூற்றைம்பது சுலோகங்களில் அனுக்கிரமணிகாத்தியமாகவும் செய்தார். இதனை சிஷ்யர்களுக்கு
எவ்வாறு கற்பிப்பது என சிந்தையில் தியானித்தார்.
வியாஸரின் தியானத்தின்
நோக்கத்தை அறிந்த பிரம்ம தேவர் அவர் முன் தோன்றினார். அவரை வணங்கி வரவேற்று ஆஸனம் அளித்த
வியாஸர் அவரிடம் ‘பகவானே! மிகவும் சிலாக்கியமான இந்த காவியத்தில் வேதத்தினுடைய ரஹசியமும்,
மற்றுள்ள விஷயமும் இதில் என்னால் தெளிவாகச் சொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. சீஷை, வியாகரணம்,
சந்தஸ், நிருத்தம், ஜோதிஷம், கல்பமென்னும் ஆறு வேதாங்கங்களும், உபநிஷத்துக்கள் அடங்கிய
வேதங்களும் தெளிவாகச் சொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. ஆனால் இதை எழுதுபவர் பூமியில் எவருமில்லை’
என்றார்.
பிரம்ம தேவரும் வியாஸரை
நோக்கி ‘ இந்த சிறப்பு வாய்ந்த காவியத்தை எழுத கணபதியைத் தியானஞ் செய்யுங்கள்’ என்றார்.
வியாஸரும் கணபதியைம் பூஜித்தார்.
அவர் முன் தோன்றிய விநாயகரிடம் வியாஸர் ‘கண
நாதரே! மனத்தில் முன்னமே அமைக்கப்பட்ட இந்தப் பாரதத்தை இப்போது நான் சொல்லுகிறேன்,
நீர் எழுத வேண்டும்’ என்று வேண்டிக் கொண்டார். விநாயகரும் மறு மொழியாக ‘எழுதும்போது
என்னுடைய எழுதுகோல் ஒரு நிமிஷமாவது நில்லாமலிருக்குமானால் நான் எழுதுபவனாக இருப்பேன்’
என்று கூற வியாஸரும், ‘இதன் விவரத்தை அறிந்து கொண்டே நீர் எழுத வேண்டும்’ என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.
குரு வம்சத்தினுடைய அபிவிருத்தியையும்,
காந்தாரியின் தர்ம ஒழுக்கத்தையும், விதுரருடைய பத்தியையும், குந்தியுடைய தைரியத்தையும்,
வாஸுதேவ கிருஷ்ணருடைய மகிமையையும், பாண்டவர்களுடைய சத்தியத்தையும், திருதராஷ்டிர புத்திரர்களுடைய
கெட்ட செய்கைகளையும் த்வைபாயன மஹரிஷியான வியாஸர் செவ்வையாகச் சொன்னார்.
‘துரியோதனன் கோபமே உருக்கொண்ட
பெரிய விருஷம்(மரம்), அதற்கு கர்ணன் அடி மரம், சகுனி கவடு என்னும் மரப்பட்டை, துச்சாஸனன்
நிறைந்த மலர்களும், கனியும், தன் மனத்தை அடக்க வழியில்லாத திருதராஷ்டிர மஹாராஜா வேர்.’
‘யுதிஷ்டிரர் தர்மமே உருக்கொண்ட ஒரு பெரிய மரம், அதற்கு அர்ஜுணன் அடி மரம், பீமஸேனன் கிளைகள், மாத்திரியின் புத்திரர்களான
நகுல, சகாதேவர்கள் பூவும் கனியும், கிருஷ்ணரும், வேதமும், பிராமணர்களுமே வேர்கள்.’
‘பாரதமென்பது ஒரு மரம்,
அதற்கு ஸங்கிரஹாத்தியாயமெனப்பட்ட அனுக்கிரமணிகா பர்வமே விதை; பௌலோமம், ஆஸ்தீகமென்கிற
பர்வங்களே வேர்கள்; ஸம்பவ பர்வமே பழுத்த அடிமரம்; ஸபா பர்வமே பக்ஷிகள்(பறவைகள்) முதலியவை
தங்குமிடம்; அரணிய பர்வம் மரத்தின் சிறு கிளை; விராட பர்வமும், உத்தியோக பர்வமும் சாரம்;
பீஷ்ம பர்வம் பெருங்கிளை; துரோண பர்வம் இலைகள்; கர்ண பர்வம் வெண்மையான பூக்கள்; சல்லிய
பர்வம் அதன் மணம்; ஸ்தீரி பர்வமும், ஐஷீக பர்வமும் நுணி; சாந்தி பர்வம் பெரும் பழம்;
அசுவமேத பர்வம் அமிர்தத்திற்கு ஒப்பான பழ ரசம்; ஆஸ்ரம வாஸ பர்வம் பறவைகளுக்கு ஆதாரமான
இடம்; மௌஸல பர்வம் பறவைகளின் ஒலித்தொகுதி; சிஷ்டர்கள் இம்மரம் காத்த பறவைகள்; மணிதர்களுக்கு
மழை போல் பாரதமென்னும் மரம் அழியாமல் அனைவர்க்கும் ஜீவாதாரமாக இருக்கும்.
