Method of Preparation of the Ascendant Horoscope of the World
In the new year, when the Sun enters Aries (Aries Ingress), the horoscope prepared based on its time as ascendant is called Universal Horoscope. The good-bad events
of the world are analyzed based on this horoscope.
If in the ascendant of this horoscope, there are benefic
planets or the ascendant is aspected
By benefics, then, crops of all things are good.
The twelve houses of the universal horoscope indicate 12
Months of Samvat as depicted in the illustrated horoscope.
The good-bad results are known by the planets situated in
various houses of the horoscope. The house having benefics
is considered lucky.
The malefics indicate unlucky results. The results are
predicted based on good-bad properties of planets.
The presence of malefics-Sun, Mars, Saturn, and Rahu in
The 7th house of the universal horoscope damages the ripe crops.
If there are benefics in the 2nd, 12th, or quadrant houses in
own sign or friendly sign, then
good crops are indicated, and prices come down. Otherwise, high prices or drought
are likely.

KURMA CHAKRA AND ITS ASTROLOGICAL
IMPLICATIONS
The
Great Astrologer Varahamihira formulated a tortoise-shaped astrological map in
his Brihat Samhita, presented as a Chakra, to help astrologers predict natural
disasters, political events, the rise or fall of nations, weather changes,
earthquakes, crop growth (good or bad), drought, etc., by dividing a country
into geographic zones and linking them to the 27 asterisms (stars).
Please
find below the Kurma Chakra of Our Country, Bharat (India)
On the Back of the tortoise, i.e., in the middle of the drawing:
Krithika, Rohini, Mrigshira.
Towards Mouth (In East): Ardra, Punarvasu, and
Pushya.
Front Foot (Right) (South-East): Aashlesha, Magha,
Poorvaphalguni.
Right side Stomach (South): Uttaraphalguni, Hast, Chitra.
Back Right Foot (South-West): Swati, Anuradha,
Vishakha.
Tail (West): Jyeshtha, Mool, Poorvashadh.
Back Left Foot (North-West): Uttarashadh, Shravan,
Dhanishtha.
Left Stomach (North): Shatbhisha, Poorva-bhadrapad,
Uttarabhadrapad.
Front Left Foot (North-East): Revati, Ashwini,
Bharani.
To determine the good-bad events or results for a piece of
land, village, city, district,
province, country, etc., the Tortoise chart is established
on it.
Thus, 5 Tortoise charts are made.
1. On the map of the world.
2. On the map of the country.
3. On the map of the province.
4. On the map of the district or city.
5. On the map of the city.
The way you are observing the overlapping Korma Chakra
constellations on the map of India can be applied to the map of the world, a
province, a city, or a village.
Whenever a constellation has vedha of malefices, or that
constellation has malefic or is
Aspected by a malefic, the area represented by that
constellation will suffer.
Similarly, the presence, vedha, or aspect of a benefic on
the constellation will indicate bliss and prosperity in the area represented by
that constellation.
As
seen in the image above, the 27 Lunar constellations are subdivided into 9
parts, consisting of 3 stars each in 8 directions, plus 1 Central portion
termed Zone.
Each
Zone consists of a few states and major cities.
As
Our Ancient Bharat stands tall in the segregation and bifurcation of
geographical areas and commodities, we have prioritised India for our
astrological analysis.

Mundane Astrology is a Voluminous subject, as there are more implications of the Veda (afflictions of Planetary positions and aspects when they occupy the stars). All nine planets are involved in afflicting one another and exerting effects that bring radical changes in every sphere of the environment and the primordials.
A few pages are not enough to pen down, as the simple term - Vedha - has so many implications and varies depending on the benefic or malefic combinations and conjunctions of planets, whether one, two, or three.
I have given a brief overview of this vast subject, and if time permits, I will write an exclusive article on Vedha and its impact.
Thanks for now. Readers can comment and express their views to my email ssssethu@gmail.com.
