What is Astrology

Basically  Astrology is a Mathematical science when Zodiac system is used. In ancient times, the King used to consult eminent people to know the welfare of the Kingdom from time to time which included Good rain, Good harvest, enemy invasion, natural calamities and ascendant to the throne. If bad signs appear like a Comet associated with the fall of a throne.

Since the calculations and working of Astrological predictions are time consuming and involvement of strategic dedication the compensation in financial equivalent made it affordable to the wealthy people only. For ages, it remained unattainable to the downtrodden. After passage of centuries, common men were able to see light thrown at them by the change in astrological perceptions. 

How Astrology works


It is in Hindu Mythology that the Milky way is spread beyond imagination and there are the Celestrial bodies like Planets and Stars. Leaving the lengthy ethical descriptions, the essence says the planets and the Stars are responsible and associated with the Human birth, body and character constitution, daily and periodical happenings including death. It is the 'Karagathuva' meaning responsible, leading and association.

The planets are lined as The Sun, Mercury, Venus  in the inner ring positioning the Earth in the Centre and Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are distant in that order. Moon as the Sun's satelite transit faster. Rahu and Ketu are set as two nodes but very powerful considering the fact that they take the 'Karagathuva' of the planet they are posited with.

I am not going into the details of Astrology as it is a vast Ocean and nobody knows the debth of it.

The 'Karagathuva' associated with each planet are as under:
