Inflation - An Economic Disintegration and lack of visual impacts
Dear Friends,
In today's news headlines in the daily 'Times of India,' there appeared two important publications - One about the high 'trade deficit' and 'incremental inflation' below the same.
Well. In general, this may seem like normal news to be passed over, but I'm a Senior Citizen and someone who knows economics.
Even after 78 years of Independence, we are not self-sufficient and continue to rely on imports, resulting in a huge trade deficit. We raise slogans such as 'Hamara Bharat Makaan'. I am a true Indian and happily chant the same. But where do we stand even after so many years? Happily pointing our fingers at others and their mistakes without looking for solutions.
India is Vast in its land possession. Logistics is the prime factor in the movement of goods from one end to the other - East to West - North to South. The movement of goods depends heavily on logistics, which in turn depend upon Fuel. Do we, as citizens of India, have a clear picture of the fuel resources and the persistent attempts to explore them? For the past few years, as far as I know, there has been no clear information. What or who prevents the Government from tabling a concrete proposal for the excavation and exploration of fuel and mineral resources?
The maximum percentage of agricultural produce and marketing products necessary for day-to-day use is transported by road. This has a chain of reactions from the production of Carriers, Fuel, Labourers, agriculturists, intermediaries, payment of GST and Road tax, and collection agents (you can assume anyone) until it reaches its final destination.
The final consumer bears the brunt of all these things, who are none other than the MIG AND PIG (Middle Income Group and Poor Income Group), and not the so-called politicians or bureaucrats, and those who bow to the Corporates for the handsome salary that permits them not to know the exact worth of living.
The Ministry of Finance and Industries is fully aware of the implications of these basic facts. Still, they lack Lateral thinking - a term which they have to study through the dictionary - engaging themselves in permitting heavy industries without knowing the absolute necessity or utility value, availability of the fuel resources, pollution, the cost of transportation, its economic violity, the exclated vlue of the final product, etc., who cares - Do the Officials - Administrative personnel do it - CPI - CONSUMER PRICE INDIX - Does it carry its real meaning?
The Government announces the names of the Finance Minister, the Secretary to Finance, and the Minister for Industries, and the list stands out with these. Does the group have any economists, on-field representatives, Agriculturists owning a lesser area of cultivation, and ther pain in raising the cops till it reaches the market tortured by the politicians and the arrogant corporates backed by Goons.
Rather than a commoner like me, please turn the pages of the next papers and add to our existing pressures; those concerned should take it on.
As a final note, there is a significant gap between what the newspapers report (Food and fuel prices driving June Inflation past 4%) and the reality.
Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
God, please save my Country.
Praying for You,
